What's in it for me? Your membership investment is instrumental in the economic vitality of the North Santiam Canyon communities. Your support will provide us with the foundation to serve as the canyon's business, and community advocate. Please join us in promoting the Canyon as a great place to work and play.
North Santiam Canyon Information Guide, Business & Services Directory Your business and its contact information will be included in the North Santiam Canyon Information Guide, Business and Services Directory and denoted with an asterisk (*) symbol to indicate NSCC membership. These publications are distributed to a variety of sources throughout Oregon including information centers, various chambers of commerce, local accommodations and attractions and city halls. Upon publication the directories are also sent directly to every canyon resident.
Visitor's Information Center Info/brochures can be found at the Gates Post Office.
Internet The NSCC's website project began in the spring of 2003 and is now fully functional. The chamber lists chamber members on the site and gives them a free link to their own website. If a member does not have a website, the chamber will provide a page at no additional cost. Please remember to provide the chamber with your website and email information.
New contacts and customers Participating in the NSCC provides opportunities to make new business contacts and meet potential clients and customers. The Board of Directors holds monthly meetings that are open to the public on the fourth Wednesday of every month. These meetings are luncheons held at noon at Frontier Country Restaurant in Gates. NSCC also has quarterly membership meetings that are informative, often with guest speakers or special topics.
Referrals At the NSCC office in Mill City, we often receive phone calls requesting information about canyon area business and recreation opportunities. When appropriate, we refer these calls to NSCC members.
