Features of Our Facility:
The property is located in the foothills of the north central Cascade Mountain Range, 35 miles east of Salem, Oregon, near Gates, Oregon, and just one mile south of Highway 22.

Our 30 acre ranch offers dry paddocks, open shelter, and an 8,000 square foot barn to meet the needs of our equine customers. Dry mud-free paddocks are important to the equine owner and unique to the wet winter months on the west side of the Cascade Mountain Range. This feature insures a healthy environment for the horse, its hooves and joints.

Additionally, the property is adjacent to over 30 miles square of forested land administered by private, state and federal owners. the Oregon Department of Forestry and the Oregon Equestrian Trails Organization (OET), have constructed a 12 site equestrians campground complete with over 30 miles of horse trails. This camp is within a mile and a half of our facility. Horse owners trailing their horses to the camp pass our Stable on their way up to the campground.

Benefits of the Service:
We feed the animals a Timothy Orchard grass hay twice a day. We have graveled paddocks for each open stall. Open pasture is available to each horse for equine socializing, roaming and grazing. Stalls are cleaned each day. Horses have access to clean water. Owners are not obligated to be on site each day to care for their horse.

Related Products & Services:
Owners, emotionally attached to their older horse, may retire their horse to this farm. The State horse camp with over 30 miles of trails and logging roads, are within on and a half miles of our facility. Our proximity to the trail system eliminates the need to haul the horse in a trailer.
